Need a certified translation of your French documents?
Do you need someone to translate and certify your état civil, acte de naissance, livret de famille, or acte de marriage into English?
Whether you are planning on studying in the UK, immigrating, getting married or need to prove your identity or professional credentials to the UK authorities, you may be asked to provide a certified translation.
To learn more about French to English certified translations and get a quote, read my 2024 Guide to Certified Translations.
Certified translations are documents that have been translated and signed off by a translator who guarantees that the content is accurate. For a translation to be certified in the UK, the translator must be recognised by a national translation body, such as the Chartered Institute of Linguists (check my status here).
“Lucy did an excellent job, even though it was during weekend. She was very careful to little details and quick to give the final touches to make the translation perfect.
I will definitely use her services again.
Thanks again.”

“Excellent and prompt service.
I cannot praise enough Lucy’s knowledge, professionalism and promptness.
She responded swiftly to my request, informed me about the deadline and I felt very reassured when she emailed me that she will come back if she would need any additional information or clarifications regarding my documents, which was also very helpful. I was pleased with Lucy’s knowledge of my specific terminology.
Lucy was very prompt and efficient, and I received the draft in a few hours followed by the certified translation which was perfect.
Highly recommend.”
